Transition to Faire Wholesale

Discontinuing the wholesale portal on this site was not a decision we took lightly. Over the past few years, our wholesale portal became unstable, and our vendor cannot fix it to our satisfaction. Here’s what was happening:

• Cart loss: Customers would add items to their cart—sometimes building a cart over days—only to have the cart disappear at checkout, leaving them unsure whether their order was submitted.
• Discount limitations: We’d love to offer BOGOs or additional discounts for wholesale customers, but the wholesale portal couldn’t support discounts beyond the initial wholesale price.
• Invoicing and payment: The portal couldn’t reliably process upfront payments against our 30-day terms, which sometimes left us short on payments.

Over the last year, we’ve been testing orders on Faire to ensure a smooth transition. Faire orders flow through seamlessly, with built-in 60-day terms, no invoicing, and automatic payment. Faire’s terms are even better than our current 30-day terms, and it also enables us to offer wholesale discounts more effectively.

You can still submit POs to orders@littlebayroot.com if you prefer to work via POs. These POs will not have net terms and must be paid before shipping.
