What's with the name?
"Little Bay Root" is a play on words. Former U.S. President George Bush encountered angry protestors when he visited Portland (go figure). His staffers started referring to our city as "Little Beirut." Add a creative tweak and we now proudly welcome you to Little Bay Root.
In the Pacific Northwest, we’re all about craft beers, meandering bookstores and the occasional naked bike ride. But that’s just the icing on the lavender-hazelnut cupcake. Way down in our coffee-fueled hearts burns an independent spirit that we at Little Bay Root want everyone to share.
Since our first tees flew off the shelves in 2004, we’ve put our passion for all things Northwest into creative designs that speak to the individuals that live here. You have to be a special gal to wear a bigfoot-themed tee!
